The minutes of the Kirmington & Croxton Parish Council meeting held on Tuesday 8 September 2026 are now available to read.
The meeting covered a range of matters affecting both villages, including:
- Playing field improvements: Exploring funding for replacement fencing and a possible separate enclosure for the younger children’s play area, alongside an inspection of the bramble hedge behind the goals.
- Village maintenance: Following up concerns about overflowing playing field bins, requesting additional dog fouling signs and discussing road sign cleaning.
- Spring in Bloom: An update on the new village planters, with thanks to Anita for her time and effort helping with the planting.
- Keeping residents informed: Plans for a parish leaflet drop and an informal residents’ meeting to hear local concerns and suggestions.
- Remembrance event: Continued preparations, including potential grant funding and the submitted road closure request.
