Kirmington & Croxton Parish Council warmly invites residents and visitors to join us on Saturday 7 November 2026 as we come together to remember those who gave their lives in service, and to honour all who have served.
Join us for the service
- Location: Kirmington War Memorial, beside St Helena’s Church, Main Street, Kirmington.
- Please arrive and be in position by: 10:40am.
- Service begins: 10:45am.
Everyone is welcome to attend the public service, including residents, families, veterans, serving personnel, reservists and cadets. The commemoration will include wreath laying and an act of remembrance.
Road closure and access
A temporary road closure will be in place on Main Street from 10:30am to 12 noon. Please allow extra time for your journey, follow the signed diversions and keep access routes and residents’ driveways clear.
The service is outdoors, so please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
A day of remembrance
Further wreath-laying commemorations are planned at the Marrowbone & Cleaver, the RAF Kirmington Memorial at Humberside Airport and Brocklesby War Memorial.
Thank you to everyone helping with the preparations and supporting this year’s commemorations.

We will remember them.
